Appointed officers in the Air and Space Forces Association Los Angeles Chapter 147 deliver remarks to attendees during the annual salute to Space Systems Command awards banquet in Los Angeles, California, June 9, 2023. The chapter, alongside SSC’s commander Lt. Gen. Michael Guetlein, recognized 16 members for their outstanding performance in the areas of program management, science, engineering, volunteerism, and leadership. Among the category of awards, and highlight for the banquet, was the presentation of the General Bernard Schriever National Space Leadership Award.
