U. S. Space Force successfully launches additional Tranche 1 satellites, expands Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifts off in support of a National Security Space Launch (NSSL) mission to deliver 21 Space Development Agency (SDA) data transport Trance 1 (T1) space vehicles to orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E), Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., on July 16, 2026. This launch was executed in partnership between the SDA and the Space Systems Command (SSC) System Delta 80 (SYD 80), which oversees the NSSL program team that performs independent mission assurance for the launch vehicle, leads the launch campaign, and together with the mission support provided by Space Launch Delta 30 (SLD 30), ensures the safe delivery of this SDA capability to low Earth orbit (LEO).
