WHAT HAPPENS AT: The Space Digital Ecosystem and Integration Facility (SpaceDEN)
U.S. Space Force (USSF) Col. Bryon McClain, Program Executive Officer (PEO) for Space Combat Power (SCP) and USSF Col. Neal Roach, director of Space Systems Command’s (SSC) Integration and Engineering Division joined the Space Digital Ecosystem and Integration (SpaceDEN) team for a ribbon cutting, officially opening the facility for use by SSC personnel and the greater USSF enterprise. SpaceDEN offers unclassified and secure networks and hybrid on-premises/cloud digital engineering enclaves and Digital Engineering Environments (DEE) that provide access to over forty digital tools to conduct modeling & simulation, rapid prototyping, analysis, and systems engineering in a collaborative space. SpaceDEN serves as a digital ecosystem enabling the USSF to identify capability opportunities, predict performance requirements, and develop acquisition strategies to counter emerging threats.
