Space Systems Command Stands up Space Combat Power System Delta

Space Systems Command’s (SSC) System Delta (SYD 89), conducts a patching ceremony at Los Angeles Air Force Base on September 30, 2025. The SYD 89’s wolf motif reflects SYD 89’s commitment to teamwork, aggressive offense, and unwavering protection of allies in the face of adversarial threats. The wolf is a formidable hunter individually, but in a pack, they’re relentlessly combat effective. SYD 89 develops and delivers cyber, ground- and space-based combat power capabilities to contest and control the space domain through fires, movement, and maneuver, preserving U.S., Allied, and commercial freedom of action in, from, and to space. SYD 89 supports the Space Combat Power (SCP) Program Executive Office (PEO). (U.S. Space Force photo by Van Ha)
