SSC Demo Exercise Tests Next-Gen GPS Receiver to Gather Feedback from Joint Warfighters and International Partners

From June 3-6, 2025, U.S. Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command’s (SSC) Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Systems Delta (PNT SYD), under SSC’s Military Communications and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Program Executive Office, hosted a Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) Objective C Demonstration 2 (Demo C2) at Fort Knox, Kentucky, in partnership with Technology Advancement Group (TAG). The three-day event put the newest Joint Modernized Handheld (JMHH) multi-mission tool in the hands of joint and international warfighters during mounted and dismounted day and night operations. The objective of the MGUE Demo C2 was to collect testing data and real-time user feedback from warfighters in simulated combat environments. SSC’s PNT SYD designs, develops, and delivers resilient, interoperable, secure, and cutting-edge PNT capabilities with speed, accuracy, and precision to increase Warfighter readiness and ensure space superiority.
