U.S. Space Force Connects on Capitol Hill During ‘Acquisition Day’ Event
More than 20 U.S. Space Force personnel united on Capitol Hill to participate in the first-ever ‘Acquisition Day’ on May 2, 2024. During this event, members partook in meetings and briefed several hundred colleagues in the administration, Congress, and across the executive branch on how space plays a critical role in our national security. The event showcased exhibits representing key mission areas, included extensive presentations on space acquisition methods, and highlighted they key role of collaboration in delivering capabilities to the warfighter faster, more efficiently, and more cost effectively.
